Sani reiterated that it will be difficult for the PDP to take over power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna if it fails to address the issues which resulted into factionalisation and put its house in order, Channels TV stated.
PDP governors have hijacked opposition party
At the national level, Sani said the PDP governors have also hijacked the party and that their action resulted in the removal of the party’s national chairman, Uche Secondus.
Secondu is challenging his removal in court.
“If Uche Secondus wins his case in court, it means the national convention and the executives produced from it will be null and void, which will be a major setback for the party and its chances in 2023.
“If PDP does not check its excesses and put its house in order, it will affect the chances of coming back to power.”

Meanwhile, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has appealed to the good people of the state not to vote for the PDP in 2023 so as not to drag Nigeria to the problems of yesterday.
He said the people should rally around and vote for the person he would anoint as the state governor in 2023.
Governor El-Rufai alleged that if not for the attitude of former senators Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi, development in Kaduna state would have surpassed the feat achieved by his administration which Kaduna people are now celebrating.
