The head of GoRu Marriage Counseling and Therapy shared his thoughts on the incident.

Mr. Godwin Ogwuche, the head of GoRu Academy, was asked why simple interactions eventually create stronger connections.

He had this to say:

“From my experience as a therapist and counselor, simple interactions often feel more real because there is no pressure. Nobody is trying to impress, pretend, or prove anything. People are just being themselves. In this story, the meeting was natural, calm, and unexpected. That kind of setting allows genuine conversation, emotional safety, and sincerity to flow. Many planned meetings come with expectations, but simple moments allow connections to grow naturally, and that is why they can be very powerful.”

As many people reacted to her story, the relationship therapist also pointed out some lessons people could learn from the incident.

His statement reads:

“One strong lesson here is that character is more important than status. Love and good relationships are not built on money alone but on respect, kindness, communication, and values. If this woman had judged the man by the situation or the means of transport, she might have missed her life partner. Young people should learn to look beyond appearance, wealth, or social class and pay attention to how a person treats them, speaks, listens, and behaves. Money can change, but character lasts.”
