“From JSS3 to University": Nigerian Man Skips Senior Secondary School, Graduates from UNIBADAN

A Nigerian man broke the internet as he shared the step-by-step process of how he gained admission into the University of Ibadan after he leaving school in JSS3.

He shared a detailed account of how he secured his admission after dedicating many years of his life to studying and finding ways to pass exams without being involved in any form of malpractice.

JSS3 school leaver becomes UNIBADAN graduate

The man disclosed that he was just a JSS3 student but couldn’t further his education due to certain reasons.

He decided to enroll in a tutorial class despite not knowing some basic concepts, as he could only read and write.

The graduate explained that at one point he couldn’t afford the tutorial fees and met with the owner, who offered him a deal in exchange for the lessons, an offer he accepted.

He took the offer and began to work for the owner of the institution, whose name he revealed as Mr Donald.

After a long period of study and dedication, he sat for UTME and scored a high mark. He did the same for his WASSCE, which he passed, and eventually gained admission into the University of Ibadan with the right documents.

Years later, he mentioned that he is now a graduate.

The Nigerian man shared the story on his X page, @Mirakull001, detailing a moral story.

He said:

"From JSS3 straight to the University of Ibadan. After JSS3, I couldn’t further my education due to certain issues. On the 17th of Sept. 2018, I decided to enroll in a tutorial. I was so bad academically that I didn’t even know the first 20 elements. I couldn’t add two fractions together either. The only thing I could do was read and write.

'The first two months of learning were tough. I had to read like a madman. Things got worse in the third month when I could no longer afford to pay the tutorial fees. The owner of the tutorial.
"Mr. Donald, made me an offer—to wash the toilets and fetch water into the bathroom drum in exchange for waiving my fees.
"I took the offer and kept going. Things got harder, but my mind was made up. I must become a UI student the following year. A few months later, another stumbling block came: I had no money to register for WAEC. On the very last day of registration, Mr. Donald came through again and registered me for free.
"I didn’t have money to register for JAMB either. Three days to the deadline, someone gifted me the money to register.
"I sat for UTME and scored 253. Two months later, I wrote my SSCE on my own—I had a B in Maths and Cs in the other subjects. I went down to the University of Ibadan for Post-UTME, I scored 76/100. I was offered my course of choice: Human Nutrition & Dietetics.

Cleaner graduates from UNILORIN
