A cake vendor dealt with a client who sent her a fake alert by delivering packaged yam peels to him.
A viral video captured how she poured the yam peels into a small carton, sealed it and handed it to her dispatch rider.

"A customer thought he could scam me by sending fake alert in 2025, so I sent him this beautiful package," words overlaid on the video read.
The clip caused a commotion on X (formerly Twitter). Confirming the incident, the vendor, via her account @thebantaa, said she made sure the customer paid for the yam peels delivery.
On how she achieved that, she said she told the dispatch rider to get the payment for the package first before handing it to the unsuspecting client. In her words:
"I’m the vendor 🤭🤭.
"Also, the customer paid for delivery. I informed the dispatch rider to get his money before handing over the package to him."

In a video, the woman showed how she arranged three heavy stones inside a carton for the customers. She sealed the carton with a black plastic wrap and used a cellotape with the “fragile” inscription on it. She wrote:
