TikTok Star KingDiego Speaks on Rift with Fellow Streamers and His Rise to Talk Show Venture
Popular TikTok creator Robert Benjamin Ikechukwu, known online as KingDiego18, has opened up about his journey from an unknown user to one of Nigeria’s most talked-about TikTok live personalities — and how a fallout with fellow streamers shaped his rise.
In an interview, KingDiego reflected on his early beginnings, his rise through TikTok’s “Live Box Battle” community, and his next big step — launching a new celebrity talk show.

“When I first came on TikTok, I didn’t know what I was doing. I just came to connect and support people as much as I could,” he said. “I like helping people and making impact in people’s lives — that’s my aim in life.”
Although he didn’t grow up in Nigeria, Ikechukwu said he proudly identifies as Nigerian.
“I am Nigerian by blood. Even though I didn’t grow up in Nigeria and don’t have the accent, that doesn’t change who I am,” he said.

KingDiego began with comedy and dance videos before joining TikTok Live Box Battles in late 2024, where he quickly became known for his generosity and consistency.
“When I started, I had about 2,000 followers. By December, I grew to over 32,000. People loved me because I was loyal, friendly, and always having fun,” he said.
Between January and March 2025, he won 15 Box Battles, becoming one of the most successful participants on the platform.
He also became a strong supporter of King Kali (TikTok King), serving as one of his moderators and sponsors.
“He made me moderator because I supported his platform massively. I was one of his biggest supporters — I spent over $80,000 helping to keep the show going,” Ikechukwu said.
The relationship later turned sour after he introduced Peller to King Kali for a friendly match, which turned into a rivalry.
“I connected King Kali with Peller. But then he wanted me to only support him and not Peller. When I refused, things changed. He blocked me after the match because I stood by Peller,” he recalled.
He said he remained loyal to Peller because he valued genuine friendship over online influence.
“Peller showed me brotherhood love. My loyalty to him was instant. With King Kali, the support was only valued because I was gifting. When I stood with Peller, I was attacked online, but I didn’t regret it,” he said.
The saga drew wide attention among Nigerian TikTok users, but KingDiego confirmed that both parties have since reconciled.
“We’ve moved past it. I’ve posted the reconciliation video on my TikTok platform,” he said.
He also announced collaborations with major creators, including Sabinus, and revealed that he will feature in a TikTok match with Samskid on November 23rd.
Now venturing into new territory, KingDiego is preparing to launch “Naija Celebrity Talk Show by KingDiego Media Production LLC,” a project that will feature candid celebrity interviews and entertainment discussions.
“I’m building something bigger than myself a space where real stories and positive influence come together,” he said.

Despite fame and challenges, KingDiego said his goal remains the same to spread positivity and inspire others.
“I came to TikTok to connect, help people, and make impact that’s still who I am,” he said.
