Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has reacted to rumours about his untimely death.

The movie star, known for sharing nuggets about love online, said he came across a blog post announcing his death and slammed the person behind it.

He stated that he would be the one to bury the blogger instead, and added that anyone who digs a pit will eventually fall into it.

In the recording, the veteran also stressed that he was not ready to die anytime soon, noting that he still plans to carry his grandchildren when his children give birth.

Speaking further about the false report, Agu said that if the blogger were popular, they would have cashed out from the post.

However, after checking the page, he realised the blogger was struggling with likes and engagement, so he would not let the matter slide.

The actor added that some gullible fans might still believe the story despite it being false.

It is important to note that Chiwetalu Agu is not the first celebrity to be trailed by death rumours in recent times.

A few months ago, it was also rumoured that veteran singer Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi had passed away. However, the elderly artiste refuted the claim and warned people against spreading lies about him.
