“I’m at a loss for what people really want from me? There is nothing I do that is good in your eyes,” she said.

Busola explained that whenever she releases a song, she is criticised for not following current trends. Yet, when she attempts to adapt, she is told she is too old for such styles.

“How can I possibly meet your expectations? What is the problem? Can’t you just let me be? Leave me alone,” she added.

Interestingly, her outcry comes just days after she received a major boost.

Busola was recently gifted a plot of land and also secured an ambassadorial deal with a property company.

However, her latest video suggested that behind the good news, personal struggles still linger.

The singer had earlier made headlines after opening up about her difficult reality in the music industry.

In an interview, she revealed that despite her talent and experience, making a sustainable income from gospel music has been a challenge.

Busola admitted that she had been dealing with loneliness, depression, and financial strain.
