According to him, humility does not always bring respect and can even backfire in a world that appears to prioritise glamour above honesty.

In his experience, fans are more drawn to the concept of remoteness than openness and relatability.

In his words:

“As an artist, if you’re humble, they take you for granted. But if you have ego, they feel like you’re not accessible, then they like you more. People would rather see what you’re doing than showing them. They don’t really appreciate it. Do what you need to do and just go.”
