Fuji singer Saheed Osupa has broken his silence after Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, named him his Greatest of All Time (GOAT) singer on an international show.
Burna Boy made this known while speaking about his music inspirations during a hangout with tennis legend Roger Federer in Zurich, Switzerland.

In a candid chat centered around GOAT, Federer asked Burna Boy who he considered as his GOAT singers.
The Nigerian singer replied,
“My GOAT singers are mostly Fuji artistes like the Fuji legend, Saheed Osupa.”
Federer, on his part, named Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and Freddie Mercury as his all-time greats.
Recall that in 2023, Burna Boy, while explaining the vastness of Saheed Osupa to one of his crew, stated that the Fuji star was a ‘Yoruba Wutang’ and ‘Wutang Ibile.'

The Fuji star, in a reaction, described Burna Boy’s heartfelt tribute, naming him as his GOAT singer on a global stage, as a monumental moment that celebrated the soul of Fuji music and its timeless influence.
According to Osupa, it shone a brilliant light on Nigeria's cultural heritage, bridging generations and genres worldwide.

Osupa withdraws case against Portable
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Saheed Osupa's management announced that the legal action against singer Portable had been legally halted.
According to Osupa’s team, the objective was not personal but to establish a precedent that would discourage disruptive behaviour.
They also mentioned that a couple of prominent individuals weighed in on Osupa’s legal battle with Portable.
