The viral video, which recently emerged on social media, captured Asake's mother, alongside some women donning similar outfits on the dance floor with Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, aka KWAM 1.

A clip showed the moment KWAM 1 sang Asake's mother's praises while singing about the former YBNL signee's exploits in the Nigerian music industry and beyond.

Asake's mother's display has, however, ignited reactions about the singer's father.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that in March 2025, Asake was caught up in a family drama after his father Odunsi cried out for help as a result of his ailing health.

The singer's dad, who accused him of abandonment, also begged for funds for treatment. Asake's babymama also granted an interview about her role in his life.
