UTME (JAMB) subject combination

For eligibility to study marketing through UTME, candidates are required to take four subjects in JAMB. These subjects are:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Economics
  • One other relevant subject from related Social Science or Management fields, such as Government, Commerce, Accounting, or Geography.

O-Level subjects combination

A candidate sitting for the O-Level examinations (SSCE/WAEC/NECO, etc) should have five (5) credit passes in the following subjects to qualify for a degree programme in marketing.

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Three (3) other relevant subjects, such as Economics, Government, History, Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Geography, Literature in English, among others.

Direct Entry (200-Level) requirements

To gain admission into the 200-level marketing, candidates must meet the Direct Entry requirements through qualifications such as A-Level, IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, or ND. The general Direct Entry requirements include:
