Prophet Warns President Buhari On Choice Of Ministers

Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, the general overseer of Christ Apostolic Church in Canaan Land, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to be cautious in selecting people who will form his cabinet.

The cleric advised Buhari to choose only those people, who share his dream into his cabinet, if he wants to run a successful government.

Daily Independent reports that Oladeji gave his advice while speaking in Erio Ekiti during a press conference to herald the annual programme tagged ‘Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Power Explosion 2015’, which begins on June 22, 2015.

The prophet, who described Buhari as a strong-willed leader, said that the problems of the country were so much-feared and multifaceted that the president cannot solve them alone. Oladeji stressed that Buhari would need the services of like-minded people to restore sanity into the system.

“All the presidents that have been elected since 1999 have tried in their own rights, but the problem had always been that they used to appoint those who didn’t share their dreams into their cabinets.

“President Buhari needs a good team. He needs people that can help him translate his dream into reality.”

“In a country like Nigeria, where corruption has become a way of life, good people are not easy to come by. But if Buhari is careful and prayerful, he will get good team and Nigeria will be better for it,” he said.

Oladeji took the opportunity to appeal to Ayodele Fayose, the governor of Ekiti state, and the security agencies to take measures to put an end to the incidences of robbery and kidnapping that have become rampant in the state.

Meanwhile, Muyideen Kasali, the presiding pastor of the Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, has also warned Fayose. The prophet called on the governor not to be carried away by the failed impeachment plot against him, adding that there were more troubles ahead for him.
