Things were so cheap

The man noted that he bought the bicycle for around N23, revealing that the joy it brought him on the day of purchase was endless.

Ibrahim stated that to change a tyre went for less than N1 but the reality is different in the present time as he would have to spend N2000 to do the same.

We all own the road

On his struggle with motorists, the father of eight children said that patience has been his tool. He added that what car owners do not know is that the road is for everybody.

In a photo shared by the media on their Instagram page, the man could be seen with a sack strapped to the bicycle.

The good old days

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man, Ayo Ojeniyi, took people on a trip down memory lane after sharing a photo of a Beetle car that was sold for N3,908.40 in 1982.

Ojeniyi also shared the receipt of the car purchase and asked people what they could buy with such an amount of money today.

Reacting to the photo, a Facebook user identified as Aliyu Hamagam said the minimum wage in 1982 was N120, suggesting that a Beetle car was expensive back in the day.
