Nigerian On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa, has opined that women should not be blamed when their partners cheat on them.

In a recent tweet, the fashionista explained that a man cheating should not have any reflection on his woman. She further stated that people should cultivate a habit of not bashing women for their partners' wrongdoing.

"Can we try to cultivate the habit of not bashing women for the wrongs of their partners, if a woman gets cheated on by her husband/partner resist the urge to blame her for his wrongdoing and no, it’s no reflection on her."

In another post, she continued that people need to stop saying “men will disgrace you”. According to her, this is alluding to and accepting shame for another’s crime.

She added:

"Instead say “men will disgrace themselves”. Adults should carry their cross without the distribution of shame, the woman was not in the mix, leave her out of the insults."

Derrick was joined by his wife as he admitted to cheating on her and also tendered a public apology for his actions.
