- Bruno Fernandes has turned down a new £200,00-per-week Man United deal
- It is understood the 26-year-old wants to know the Red Devils' transfer plans
- The Portuguese midfielder has scored 22 goals in all competition this season
The Portuguese star is United's stand-out player of the season and the club are looking to tying down his future at the Theatre of Dreams for the next five years.
However, reports claim the 26-year-old wants to get assurances about their future transfer plans before he signs on the dotted lines.
Fernandes currently earns £100,000-a-week making him one of the lowest-paid stars in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
He signed a five-and-a-half years deal with the option of an additional year extension when he joined United in January 2020.
Fernandes has scored 22 goals from midfield in all competitions for United so far this season and netted the opener in the famous win against Man City.
The Red Devils are 11 points behind City and will need Fernandes to continue his scoring form to increase their chances of catching their neighbours.
The Portugal international is also a strong contender for the Premier League Player of the Year with ten games left to play.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Bruno Fernandes' attitude on the sidelines after he was substituted against Man City has got the attention of Man United fans.
The Portuguese scored from the spot in the second minute of the game and was substituted in the 90th minute while the score was at 2-0.
After walking off the pitch, the 25-year-old stood behind United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and was showing concern about what was going on with the remaining minutes of the game.
