Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that a goal each from Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw was all Man United needed on Sunday evening, March 7, to end Man City's 21-game unbeaten run across competitions.

United went into the 185th edition of the Manchester Derby played at Etihad Stadium with the hope of returning to winning ways having faltered against Crystal Palace in midweek.

Buoyed by their impressive run since December, City on the other hand were looking to take another step forward in their push for Premier League glory.
