Nigerian man shares his odd and beautiful love story to the delight of Twitter users

- A Twitter user, Samuel Otigba, recently called on followers to share their odd love stories but he started with his own

- Otigba recounted how a lady had sent him a message on Twitter but he ignored because he thought she was a catfish account

- However, a month later they ended up going on a date, and her beauty completely caught his attention

A Nigerian man identified as Samuel Otigba on Twitter recently humoured members of the online community after sharing his odd love story.

Otigba in a lengthy Twitter thread started off by recounting how he had shared a picture on his page and a lady, @Drbisola, sent him a DM. They got talking and he was motivated to move the conversation from Twitter to Instant messaging platform, Whatsapp.

However, that was when Otigba discovered that she had no pictures on her page, used an alias and also had a private Instagram account. Otigba said he thought he was being ghosted and therefore moved on.

About a month after his first encounter with the lady, Otigba said she gave him a call on a day when he was going for a church program.

His tweet read in part:

"Got a call from her (@drbisola) asking if I would love to meet since she was on her way to the island for her friend’s house party, found out it was close to where I was heading to. I cancelled with my other date & explained the traffic situation."

Upon meeting her at the agreed point, Otigba said he was taken by her beauty and immediately arranged for a date in a more deserving venue. He said they spoke for hours and he almost didn't want her to leave.

Although he didn't complete the story, the lady in question is now Otigba's wife.

In a similar story, Legit.ng gathered the report of a man, Chisom, on Twitter who recounted how he met his lover in a way that wowed many.

Chisom said that their sweet life as lovers began when the lady asked for a dance lesson. Many applauded his love story as they wished both of them fruitful years together.
