Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been crowned FIFA The Best goalkeeper for the outgoing year.

The Germany international beat Liverpool's Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid to the prestigious prize.

Neuer helped the Bavarians win a treble last campaign and also won the UEFA Super Cup and the German Super Cup at the start of the new season.

Jan Oblak didn't lift any trophy in the year under review, he however featured in all 38 league games for Atletico Madrid.
