Coronavirus: Lady vows not to leave lab till she finds cure for disease

- A Nigerian lady has started searching for coronavirus cure as the world battles with the deadly disease

- The lady, who is simply identified as Gracious, says she will not leave the laboratory till she finds cure for coronavirus

- The microbiologist asked Nigerians to wish her luck in her search for the cure

As the world battles with coronavirus pandemic, a Nigerian microbiologist has started research in search of a cure for the deadly disease.

Legit.ng gathers that the microbiologist, simply identified as Gracious, took to her Twitter page to make the disclosure on Friday, March 20.

She tweeted: "I have entered the lab and I won't leave until I find the cure for coronavirus."

In other news, Eric Buabeng, aka Yaw Whyte, a Ghanaian creative from Breman Esiam in the Ajumako Enyan Esiam District in central region, is using gallons to help people observe basic hygiene.

The 25-year-old graduate of the University of Education, Winneba, who studied Geography and Economics, converted gallons into hand-washing running taps to fight Covid-19.

The hand-washing gallon-taps will help people to have access to running water so they can observe personal hygiene.

With just gallons and other basic materials from plastic bottles, Buabeng converted the gallons into running taps.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the general overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Daniel Olukoya, closed down churches in Lagos and Ogun states and declared 30-day fasting.

This directive was in response to the coronavirus pandemic that the world is currently battling with.

The church was complying with the directives of the Lagos and Ogun states governments banning all religious meetings and gatherings of more than fifty worshippers as an urgent measure taken to curtail coronavirus.

According to a statement by MFM, no services, including deliverance ministrations must hold in any of its branches at all levels in the affected states till further notice.

All house fellowship meetings at any of the centres were also postponed till further notice.
