The APC further stated that the Buhari government “is vigorously tackling and solving the social, economic and security challenges our country faces one after the other.”

“Government's successes in plugging revenue leakages, checking violent extremism, oil sector reforms, anti-corruption, economic diversification, curbing waste, infrastructure development among other achievements are a profound testament,” Issa-Onilu noted.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the APC has overstretched the limits of Nigerians by trivializing and politicizing the unemployment situation in Nigeria.

The main opposition party warned the ruling APC to be ready to face the consequences of the unemployment situation in the country ahead of 2023.

“The PDP holds that for attempting to distort and muffle facts on unemployment, which are already in the public domain, the APC has confirmed that it remains an Automated Lying Machine, which has never been interested in the welfare of Nigerians,” a statement sent to the media on Sunday, December 29 by Kola Ologbodiyan, PDP spokesman noted.
