Rute Cardoso, the widow of former Liverpool star Diogo Jota, has penned a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband as their daughter celebrates her first birthday.
Jota tragically passed away in July after he was involved in a fatal crash with his younger brother Andre Silva, who also died at the scene.
It was gathered that the brothers were travelling in their Lamborghini when the car suffered a tyre blowout and caught fire.

He was on his way back to the UK from Portugal for pre-season activities before he got involved in the fatal accident.

Jota's death left the football world in shock, leading to tributes from the biggest names in the game from all around the world.
Thousands mourned the player and sent condolence messages to Rute and their three children as the tragic incident occurred less than two weeks after their wedding.
Rute has taken to social media after their daughter turned one, sharing several pictures of them holding the baby, adding the caption "a whole year".
In the first picture, the couple were captured carrying the little one, while another one showed Jota carrying her at the hospital, per SunSport.

Ronaldo sends gift to Jota's family
Legit.ng earlier reported that Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a special gift to the family of the late Diogo Jota to commemorate Portugal's Nations League win.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who scored during Portugal's win over Spain in June, commissioned watches from the luxury brand Jacob&Co and had them delivered to all of his teammates following the triumph.
