Michelle Alozie Urges Fans to Turn Up for Super Falcons After Massive Support for Super Eagles

Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie has sent a message to Nigerians after the Super Eagles defeated the Amavubi of Rwanda 1-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria kept their World Cup hopes alive with the much-needed win over Rwanda, thanks to Tolu Arokodare’s second-half goal after coming off the bench.

According to The Standard, the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker teamed up with Cyriel Dessers up top and grounded out a win after Victor Osimhen's unfortunate injury.

Nigerians were delighted with the win as it gives the team confidence ahead of Tuesday's matchday eight against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie urges Nigerians to show the same level of support for the women's team when they play at home, with a message on her X page, which many fans agree to, and some others have a different view on it.

The last time the Super Falcons played at home, the match was hosted at the newly renovated Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta to a minimal crowd.

As noted by Punch, they will return home in October to face Benin in the qualifier for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
