Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini has complimented her mother's cooking skills of Nigerian dishes.
Nigeria beat host Morocco 3-2 to win the 13th Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Saturday night, July 26.

The Nigerian-Dutch midfielder played a key role in helping the team to their 10th continental title.
The former Juventus star scored an 88th-minute winner against host Morocco to seal the victory for the team.
Super Falcons rewarded by President Tinubu
Super Falcons were received by a high-powered delegation led by the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, alongside ministers and influential Nigerians.
According to Punch, the 10-time WAFCON winners were promised the sum of $100,000 each and an equivalent of $50,000 to each technical team member. Tinubu said:
"You have inspired millions, especially young girls who now see proof that their dreams are valid and achievable.
“You have inspired me, too. And it’s great for a nation to have assets that are the hope of today, tomorrow, and the day after. You represent that hope. You ignited that hope. And we will continue to encourage you, the next generation, and other generations after you.”

Echegini rates her cooking skills
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Jennifer Echegini has admitted that she finds it extremely difficult to cook spicy Nigerian Jollof.
In a viral TikTok post, the 24-year-old revealed she has taken cooking lessons from YouTube but still cannot match her mother's skills.
The former Juventus star praised her mother’s Jollof, saying it tastes amazing, and added that she would love to learn her secret. She said:
"I have tried a couple of times to prepare Nigerian jollof, but it doesn't hit the same as my mother's.
"I asked her, How are you making this and I tried it. It's just not the same; I don't know what it is.
"I have watched YouTube videos, and it is not as sweet as my mom."
Born in the Netherlands, the Super Falcons star started her football career with the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Florida State Seminoles in college around 2023 before turning professional in 2024, per FOX Sports.
She signed a two-year deal with the Old Ladies, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances before joining French Champions PSG on a three-year contract.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin warned Jennifer Echegini against opening the window during the trophy parade in Lagos.
In a post on X, Demehin informed Echegini that her phone can be snatched by miscreants who posed as well-wishers.
