New signing Viktor Gyokeres scored his first goals for the club: a bullet shot and a penalty in the second half. Defender Jurrien Timber netted a brace while Saka also got his first of the season.
The Gunners move to the top of the Premier League table, but Arteta has more worries after the injury to two of his main attackers.
Arteta's update on Saka and Odegaard
Captain Martin Odegaard left the match in the 38th minute after feeling his shoulder following a bad landing and was replaced by youngster Ethan Nwaneri.
“That's the negatives of the day,” Arteta told Arsenal TV about the injuries. “Martin felt something in his shoulder when he landed. We don't know, we'll have to scan him tomorrow and understand a bit better.”
Saka was forced off with a hamstring injury, which raises heavy concern after missing a significant part of last season with the same type of injury.
“And Bukayo, while he was carrying the ball, wrestling with the defender, he felt something in his hamstring. Let's see, I think it's the other one, it's not the same one as the previous injury,” he continued.

“We've been two weeks and we've already lost Kai, Martin and Bukayo, so it tells you how well-equipped you have to be in this league to manage and to maintain the level that we want.”
There are concerns that the England international could be out for an extended period yet again, but the manager claims that it cannot be decided until the doctors check him.
“I don't know [if it's serious], he felt something while he was sprinting. That's never a good sign. We'll have to wait until tomorrow, speak to the doctors and understand better what he's done. But he's had his injuries before, he knows exactly the feeling of that, so let's wait,” he concluded.
As noted by The Athletic, Arsenal have already lost Kai Havertz to a long-term injury, and it facilitated the signing of Eberechi Eze, who was en route to rivals Tottenham, for around £68 million.
