Italian press warns AC Milan against signing Boniface
AC Milan have been cautioned against securing the services of Victor Boniface for the 2025/26 Serie A Season.
According to Punch, the advice came on the heels of the 24-year-old's injury history since his days at Bodo/Glimt.
An Italian newspaper revealed that Boniface suffered two ligament injuries during his three-year stint in the Norwegian league between 2019 and 2022.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the AFCON silver medallist was out of the Bayern Leverkusen team for three months after suffering a thigh injury that forced him to miss 12 matches.
In the 2024/25 season, Boniface lost his starting spot to Patrick Schick after suffering an injury, plus Leverkusen manager Erik ten Hag has signed a new forward, Christian Kofane, pushing him to the third-choice striker. The newspaper wrote:
"Victor Boniface has been struggling with injury over the years. During his playing days at his first professional club (Bodo/Glimt), he suffered two serious ligament injuries in March 2019 and November 2020.

We have to support Boniface - Kolapo
Founder of Padimi Sports Foundation, Are Kolapo said Nigerians must rally round Victor Boniface ahead of his move to AC Milan.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Kolapo said some of the greatest players in the world defied injuries to create and set records. He said:
"I am not happy with the way the Italian press are going about the injury status of Victor Boniface. The Nigerian striker is not the first player to have cases of multiple injuries.
"Players like Brazilian Ronaldo, Arjen Robben, Marco Reus, and many others had worse cases of injury but proved the world wrong.
"I believe that Boniface will do well and make Nigerians proud at AC Milan. What we have to do is to rally round the Nigerian international and wish him well."
