“That’s More Like It”: Fans React As Kano Pillars Unveil New Kits for 2025/26 Season

Kano Pillars Football Club officially unveiled their home and away kits for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The former NPFL champions were branded by their official partner, Radio France Internationale Hausa for the upcoming season.

The club and agency signed a N100 million partnership agreement, which was unveiled at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano State.

The Sai masu gida finished in 9th position, securing 15 wins, 8 draws, and 15 losses with 53 points last season.

A X user advised the former NPFL to own their store for fans to secure jerseys.

Kano Pillars win 4th Gusau/Alhan Cup

Kano Pillars FC beat Plateau United 5-3 on penalties to win the 4th Gusau/Ahlan Preseason on Saturday, August 16.

According to VON, both teams played a goalless draw at the Lafia City Stadium in Nasarawa.

The final was witnessed by top government functionaries, including Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau.

Meanwhile, Sai Masu Gida cruised to a 7–0 victory over Tudun Wada Utd in a friendly at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, August 20 as preparations continue for the NPFL opener against Abia Warriors on Sunday, per PM News.

Ahmed Musa reacts to alleged Land Cruiser gifts

Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian international Ahmed Musa has responded to reports that he gifted each member of the Kano Pillars squad a Sport Utility Vehicle after being appointed as the team's general manager.

The former CSKA Moscow star clarified that no such gifts were made, dismissing the reports as unfounded.
