11 of the last 12 Super Cup finals have been won by Champions League winners, with Real Madrid in 2018 the only side to lose to rivals Atletico Madrid.

Tottenham have a North London curse hanging over them. Six of the previous seven English teams have won on their first attempt; only Arsenal have lost their first game.

The two sides have not met in a competitive match, but their last season's form could have a say. PSG have won 34 games in 2025, more than any other European side, while Tottenham have lost 16 matches, more than any other English side.
