2027 Election: Fates of Tinubu, PDP, ADC, Labour Party Predicted
- President Bola Tinubu's chances in the 2027 election have been said to be of fortune, considering the current political climate in the country
- Titilope Anifowoshe, a political commentator, made the prediction in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng
- Anifowoshe also predicted what could happen to the PDP, Labour Party and the coalition's bride, ADC, in the next cycle of elections in Nigeria
President Bola Tinubu has been tipped to have the chances of winning the 2027 presidential election, even in the midst of an opposition coalition, led by the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, as well as the nationwide political alignment and realignment.
Titilope Anifowoshe, a legal practitioner, in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, commended the outcome of the recent bye-elections in 12 states of the country. He then advised the opposition coalition to have strategic grassroots mobilisation, adding that elections are not won on social media.

2027 elections: Atifowoshe tells coalition what to do
The legal practitioner urged the opposition to go back to the drawing board, not just to plan to take over power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but to attract many Nigerians on their side with better policies and programmes.
She said:
"Elections have never been won with press statements or huge social media talks. Elections are won on the streets, in the grassroots, with strategy and mobilisation. The Nigerian Political opposition needs to go back to the drawing board to plan out how best they can not just take over power from the ruling APC but also attract Nigerians with better policies and programs that will elevate the Nigerian People.
"It is exciting to see the PDP take the seat from the APC in Oyo state and the NNPP recording massive wins in Kano State. This, to me, indicates a fair election with core implementation of the electoral Act. It shows that Nigeria is gradually moving past election rigging by federal might."
Who will win the 2027 presidential election?
Speaking on the 2027 election, the legal practitioner projected victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu at the centre. She added that the PDP may have some strong reformation in some northern states.
She projected that the Labour Party may become weak, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) may gather little votes at the grassroots. Her statement reads:
"My projection is that the Nigerian 2027 election will be keenly contested. Unfortunately, votes may be dictated by tribal lines, especially with the confirmation of zoning of the presidential tickets to the South. My projection for the 2027 election is a victory for Asiwaju Tinubu’s APC.
"Strong reformation of the PDP in some Northern States, and the weakening of the Labour Party. At the Federal level, the ADC may get some substantial votes, but the 2027 election may not see the ADC showcase as much strength as it envisages in the grassroots. This is owing to its inability to attract sitting Governors to the party."
