Reactions trail Oyedepo Jnr's claim about marriage

"That’s a good testimony, but we must remember that marriage is not defined by the absence of arguments, but by how husband and wife submit to God’s word. The Bible teaches that the husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church, and the wife to respect her husband - Eph 5:22–25. Even when disagreements arise, Christians are called to handle them with patience, forgiveness, and humility Col 3:12–13. What makes a godly marriage is not perfection in never disagreeing, but faithfulness to God’s design."

"I’ll make an excuse for him; I think he meant to say we’ve never had a fight or likely an argument that resulted in a disagreement or dispute."

"Two years into our marriage, my wife and I have never fought. When we misunderstood each other, we just talk things out like the adults we are and move on."

"That can’t be healthy. It means there are emotions bottled up inside. Even Jesus Christ our savior spoke out when things were not the way it’s supposed to be. We are humans, no man can be God."
