The heartbroken lady asked why she deserved such a painful letdown, but her partner provided no answer, insisting she had done nothing wrong.

The boyfriend, whose contact is saved as "My Everlasting" on the lady's phone, told her that marrying her wasn't obligatory. He clarified that he had given her the engagement ring as a personal choice but was now reconsidering his decision.

He went ahead to suggest the single mother use the money earned from selling the ring to support her daughter.

"Favour go and sell the ring. Use it to take care of your daughter. Like I said, I have moved on. I don't need you anymore so move on as well. I gave you a ring because I wanted to and now I'm done", the man said in the chats.

Reacting to her lover's stand, the young lady broke down in tears and begged him to change his mind. She also shared a video crying uncontrollably after the break-up.
