Friend of Late Kola Onifoto Recalls Last Moments With Him: "In Death, You Are Trending"

An acquaintance of former military officer and photographer Orowale Kolapo, aka Kola Onifoto, has expressed her grief in a post over his passing.

The female acquaintance, Defunke Adewumi, took to Facebook to reflect on their past interactions.

Adewumi revealed that they had encountered each other four times, during which they resolved misunderstandings and chose peace over conflict.

According to her, they mutually respected one another enough to 'ceasefire' whenever disagreements arose.

She wrote:

"In all fours, I am glad we respected ourselves enough to cease the drama we were either involved in.

Kola.... It is well oooooo
Once again, it's not sinking in that you are no more...

Defunke also recalled how Kola used to call her “Aunty Funke,” describing the memory as something that continues to ring in her head.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Nigerians have reacted to biker Kola Onifoto's chat with his mother days before his tragic motorbike crash in Lagos.

As people mourned Kola, many revisited his WhatsApp chat with his mother, which he had shared on Facebook on his new account on February 24.

In the chat, Kola's mum enquired about his well-being and warned him to be careful and to remember the son of who he is. He replied her in Yoruba, saying he has heard her.
