The final hurdle was finding a guarantor for a bond, which was an insurmountable task given her family's financial situation.
Luckily, as she walked the streets of Ikeja, Lagos, feeling defeated and hopeless, she remembered a lecturer from her university days who had a law firm in the city.
She reached out to him, and to her surprise, he offered his assistance, providing her with the necessary support to secure the bond.
He called his account manager, and within a short time, the necessary arrangements were made.
She was able to submit the bond and secure her place on the graduate programme just after her encounter with the lecturer. This allowed her to take up the graduate role she had been vying for.
Recounting her journey, she credited her breakthrough to her strong faith in God.

She said in part:
"And that was how I got into training school, from nowhere, me, helpless, my first class did not help me, my chartered accountant did not help me, my smarts did not help me, the holy spirit, God helped me in that moment. Help is coming, help is coming, I need you to hang in there. Know that sometimes the people you see rising to the top and going to the top, they are average people like you, they are average people like you, who sometimes just got lucky and are blessed. I hope this blesses you, remain fantastic."

"Currently I’m stranded in Lagos. I moved from edo state to Lagos because no opportunity there. I still get jobs in Lagos for content creation. But no accommodation. I pray it gets better soon. I won’t go back or give up. Thank you for this. I don’t even have a home to go back to. lol."

"I do laugh at people who gather everything they meet in the name of building friends for future purposes, cos I'm aware that most of the time in life helps comes from where you never expected it."
@zino reacted:
"Everyone keeps saying “help is coming,” but how long should one wait? Time isn’t standing still we’re aging daily. I believed at 14 that life would look a certain way by 30. I’ve failed many times, and honestly, the only help I’ve consistently seen is waking up each morning with breath in my lungs. Not dismissing anyone’s belief just sharing my own experience."
@Thelight said:
"I experienced things like this a lot of times, in fact sometimes I just sit down in the corner of my room and cry for how God has come through for me."
@Omaa commented:
"I’ve been listening to you for a while and somehow each post speaks to a different part of my being. Don’t stop, you are helping people like me."
@Bint Lucky added:
"That was exactly how I got into the university. When scholarships failed me, my High School teacher came through for me. Mins you, he wasn't my friend back in school ooo eei God."
