Netizens are praising a Nigerian family because of the things they bought for their daughter, who was getting married.

A video seen on social media shows how the family went the extra mile to get nice household items for the bride.

In the video shared on TikTok by @capturedby_goodness, the expensive household items were displayed in the open during the wedding.

Some of the items seen in the clip include television, refrigerator, deep freezer, blender, microwave oven, wardrobe, cooking utensils and many more.

Speaking to Legit.ng, Raez Jewels, a relationship expert, said in many cultures, it is the responsibility of the bride's family to provide her with such utensils as she might need.

⁠"Yes it is their responsibility to provide at least complete kitchen utensils and foodstuffs for their daughter's wedding. It’s a well-practised culture in the north and middle-belt."
