The lawyer also opened up on the price for a new tokunbo engine for his car after the current one got knocked.
He said:
“How Lagos Flood finished my car and knocked the engine completely. Watch the slides to the end. This happened at Gbagada road linking the 3rd Mainland bridge opposite Burger King. The flood was so much that when I came down from the Car, the water was almost by my neck.
“I was literally swimming to cross the road and falling into different deep gutters because the floor covered the gutters. I was lucky not to get drowned but got injured in the process. To push the car out of the flood, the Agberos collected ₦20,000 from me despite all the begging.
“They showed Zero Sympathy and said its the only way they can see money to eat, and their prayers have been answered. The towing vehicles made serious money towing numerous cars. I spent ₦95,000 to tow the car back home and this is with serious begging and haggling. Mechanic checked the car and confirmed that the Engine has Knocked.
“I Inquired about a new Tokunbo Engine and I was told between ₦1.8million to ₦2.5million. I am in tears!!! Which kin wahala be this?”

In a chat with Legit.ng, the lawyer mentioned the problem with the roads and what the government should do about it.
He said:
"I believe that road does not have enough gutters and canals to channel the water when it rains away from the express road. Those that constructed that road did not make adequate provisions for floods thats why that place always accumulates plenty water whenever a light rain occurs. They need to find a way to channel the water so that it does not affect people's cars like mine when it rains and leads to flooding."

I deal on cars. Nothing is wrong with your engine bro. Just let the water dry. Drain all the engine oil. Put a black oil and start the engine for a while before replacing with a new oil and filter…. What you should be worried about is electrical problems…."
