A student of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has gone viral after thieves broke into her hostel, stealing her belongings, including a plastic of garri, while she was away on holiday.

The lady shared a video of her hostel, once stocked with groceries including spaghetti and other food items.

TASUED student shares before-after hostel video

In the video, a large plastic of garri could be seen, still filled with a significant amount.

She had left her room locked before going home for the holiday, only to return and find it looted, with thieves carting away her belongings, including the garri.

The post, shared on her TikTok page, @baby___marvel, has attracted significant attention.

In the video, the lady initially showed her room fully stocked, and then the aftermath of the theft. The voiceover said:

"Infact, they stole her garri plastic."

Lady laments as thief breaks into hostel

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian private university student lamented after someone broke into her hostel room, stole all her wigs, and used her toilet without flushing.
