In a video he posted on TikTok, the man, @odogwuasaabaa, said he saw the girl's father and her elder brother smoking.

He said a lot of things started going on in his mind after he saw the two men smoking.

He said he could not bring himself to have such a family as in-laws.

However, some people in the comment section said that what he saw was not enough reason to cancel his marital plans.

Nigerian man cancels his wedding

Earlier, Legi.ng reported that a Nigerian man reportedly called off his wedding after he found out that the woman he wants to marry was in debt.

According to the story, the bride-to-be was reportedly owing a bank the sum of N8.2 million, a situation the man did not like.

He was said to have cancelled the wedding as he was not ready to inherit his bride's debt.
