"To most of the people that know me today, my name is Tonia, and that's the name I go by online.
"But it wasn't even really by choice. When I was taking my common entrance for the secondary school I ended up going to, the receptionist looked at my whole name and just said Tonia.
"And I said, 'Oh, yes, Tonia. That's me.'

"Tonia is my first name on all my documentation, but in primary school and in my house, everyone calls me by my Igbo name, which is Nulia - short for Chisimnulia, which means 'God said I should rejoice.'
