Amid the trending issue involving an Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson, a regular flier on the airline, shared her personal experience on the plane.
Comfort was filmed slapping an air hostess on the plane and resisting arrest from the airport security that confronted her at the Lagos airport in videos that emerged.

The videos showed how the passenger struggled with aviation security and ground officials who tried to disembark her from the plane.
In one of the videos, the passenger’s privates were exposed after being pulled out of the plane.
Lady shares experience with Ibom Air
A statement by the airline revealed that the drama started when Comfort refused to turn off her phone.
As Nigerians analysed the issue, a lady identified as Itee Itoro Akrasi on Facebook shared her experience with the airline.
She said she had never turned off her phone while flying and proceeded to share her reason.
Itee partly said in her post:
“I have flown Ibom Air multiple times and never have I ever switched off my phone, Never also did I ever put the phone down throughout the flight because I used that time to edit videos or read articles.If Comfort put her phone on flight mode then you all are being really unfair! - (I'm trying to be nice with my words)
“To our moral polices and securities, Comfort was well dressed in that plane, she had a track suit and trousers on with her hair and hair band then the inner top. We all saw it in the video she made before the fyt.
“Now let me tell all of you who think because you wear bra and pantiies, you are very decent that you are just busy bodies who think the world revolves around what you've grown up to believe. You are highly judgmental!
