Lady's observation about Air India crash survivor
Stella, in a Facebook post, noted that people who also doubted Ramesh's story had overlooked the fact that he was seated by the emergency exit, a location that increases one's chances of surviving a crash.
She added that the British national had a direct path of escape while everyone else might have been trapped or disoriented.
Her post in part read:
"...But here’s the part that people overlooked . I did initially too👇🏽.
"1. He was actually seated right by the emergency exit — a location that statistically gives you the best chance in a crash.
"2. The plane’s fuselage broke open right next to him, so while everyone else may have been trapped or disoriented, he had a direct path out.
"3. Adrenaline is real — in survival mode, people can walk on broken legs or ignore burns. He was likely running on pure shock and instinct.
"4. And yes, his escape sounds cinematic, but so does every “sole survivor” story in history.
"People have fallen from 30,000 feet and lived.
"Ramesh’s case, while rare, is scientifically possible — just highly, ridiculously lucky..."
