Couple Builds Mansion in 4 Months, Spends Over N40m to Achieve Great House Design with Flat Roof

A young Kenyan couple is inspiring the next generation of homeowners after building their dream home over four months.

What features does couple’s mansion have?

In a widely shared video, the Mwangangis - Patrick and Fancy - revealed that their stunning mansion cost around KSh8.5 million.

Speaking to YouTuber Edna, Patrick said the land the contemporary two-storey mansion sits on cost at least KSh4 million.

"Land here is between KSh3 million (N16,947,615.10) and KSh4 million (N22,596,820.13) depending on how you negotiate. Construction is a bit relative because you will have some variations apart from the original cost. So, it was to the tune of between Sh8.5 million (N48,018,242.77) to 9 million (N50,842,845.29)," said Patrick.

The software engineer said they decided to build the 4-bedroom home to fit their young and growing family, as well as their expanding needs.

"I wanted to grow up with my family. I wanted them to experience being in a home. I was brought up in ushago - my dad is here - but times have changed. We barely go to shags. I wanted them to experience that shags life here," said Patrick.

The contemporary home boasts a perimeter wall, a secured gated entrance and a cabro-styled landscape.

Painted black and white with a splash of cream, the house is a modern design complemented with striking black-framed windows.

Upon entering, the exceptional home features a grand two-storey foyer, a chandelier and a winding staircase. The spacious interiors are trimmed with high-end finishes, including beautiful light fixtures, granite counters and chick curtains.

The living room leads to an open dining area that is spacious enough to host eight people. It is suitable for large family meals and celebrations.

A serving window connects the kitchen to the dining room.

The kitchen itself is captivating with a black backsplash, built-in cabinetry, pantry and modern appliances.

On the second floor are the ensuite bedrooms that include a spacious guest room. Each room features mounted closets for functionality and style.

The rooftop terrace offers a nice mix of scenic views and a spacious lounging area complete with its powder room.

Upon viewing it, netizens could not help but feel happy for the couple.

"Beautiful home beautiful family... Blessed," wrote one.

Man finished house in 5 months

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a young Nigerian man was massively celebrated after he showed the beautiful house he finished in five months.

He (@bigbobby66) thanked God as a video he shared had different phases of the building construction till it was roofed.
