How did Esbon Macharia win jackpot?
Esbon Macharia, a Thika town-based businessman who owns a hardware shop, correctly predicted all 13 matches on the midweek jackpot played on November 24.
“We have a winner! SportPesa is proud to announce Kshs. 27,041,645 Midweek Jackpot has been won," announced the betting firm.

SportPesa treated Macharia to a presidential-like motorcade complete with police motorcycle outriders while unveiling him on Tuesday, November 28. He was picked up from his shop in Thika and driven to Nairobi, where he was handed his goodies.
On Tuesday, November 28, SportPesa shared an update about the multimillionaire.
Macharia went back to work at his hardware as usual.
Images shared online depicted him walking the team through the premises and arranging cement bags.

In a related report, a man won a N180 million bet in the space of three days.
The lucky fellow, @_kennyblaze1391, flaunted his winning tickets on X as he announced his stunning win to his followers.
The tickets he shared showed how he won millions in different games he booked and the amount he staked on each of the winnings.
Man wins N102m bet overnight
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a man won N102 million in sports betting overnight.
In a tweet on X on Friday, November 10, an excited Bayo displayed his winning tickets as he broke the news of his massive win.
According to Bayo, he made a stake of N234k to win the whopping sum and hinted at rewarding his followers with some of the money. He also added that he informed his employer at work that he wouldn't be coming that day.
