Balami, who turned 41 on Monday, shared this message in a reflective post on his X account.
He explained that birthdays, for him, are not mere celebrations but moments to take stock of life and renew commitment to personal and national goals.
“Today, I turn 41. I am deeply grateful to God for the gift of life, strength, and purpose.
Birthdays for me are not about fanfare but reflection, gratitude, and the moment we renew our commitment to our life journey and expectations,” he wrote.

From humble beginnings in Borno, he rose to become a licensed aviator, entrepreneur, and the founder of initiatives that have touched lives in education, philanthropy, and aviation.
“In a flash, my life is a journey of grace and resilience. From humble beginnings in Borno to becoming an aviator and now leading initiatives that touch aviation, education, and philanthropy, I see God’s manifestation,” he said.
Balami, who once served as President of the Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, is now the Chief Executive of 7Star Global Hangar and Airlines.
He also founded the Isaac Balami Foundation and the Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management.
Through these platforms, he has sponsored over 160 young Nigerians in aviation training and created what he called “opportunities where none existed.”
He described his greatest joy as seeing young people start careers in aviation and other fields through the opportunities he has created. “Keep the hope alive. Believe in yourself. Believe in Nigeria,” he urged.
Balami advises Nigerian youths
Balami admitted that many Nigerians face frustration but said obstacles should be viewed as runways, not barriers. He recalled beginning his aviation journey without resources, connections, or political support, relying only on faith and determination.
He said his new year will be dedicated to expanding his airline brand, building IBUAM into a world-class aviation university, and strengthening his foundation to empower more young people.
“My dream is to see a Nigeria where young people build opportunities instead of waiting for them, a Nigeria that manufactures aircraft and exports talent. As I step into 41, my message is clear. Don’t give up. Stay true to your dream,” Balami concluded.
