Rita Edochie Shares Sermon on Godly Marriage: “If U Are a 2nd Wife, U Are Nothing but a Witch”

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has ignited reactions on social media following her opinion about women who choose to be second wives.
Rita, who is known to be a supporter of actor Yul Edochie's estranged wife, May, on Sunday, September 21, shared a video from a cleric's sermon about godly marriage.

The cleric in the video said:
"All the people that have become second wives are all greedy people, very jealous, witchcraft is driving them, you are a witch to be marrying somebody's husband when you know the man is already married."
Rita, who agreed with the cleric's opinion, went on to share how being a second wife affects marriages.
"If you’re a second wife, you are nothing but a witch. You are not innocent, you are not special, you are just greedy. You have chosen to feed on another woman’s tears, to build your happiness on someone else’s pain. Do not call it love, it is wickedness. Do not call it destiny, it is covetousness. You stole what was not yours, and you expect to be celebrated? Never. A second wife is not a queen. She is a usurper. You are the thief that slipped into another woman’s home pretending to be a bride," she wrote.
The actress added that women who agree to be second wives will face the consequences of their actions.
