Though she could not respond to every message, she made a point of reaching out to those whose stories felt closest to her own. According to the actress, the effort has since yielded results, with at least 10 women now reconciled with their former partners, restoring peace and building healthier co-parenting arrangements in the process.
"God has truly turned my personal story into a tool for restoration," she wrote.
Tonto Dikeh's Message on Forgiveness
At the heart of her message was a simple but powerful argument: forgiveness is not a gift you give the person who wronged you; it is something you do for yourself. Tonto urged anyone holding on to bitterness to see forgiveness as the key to unlocking their own progress, not as a concession to the one who caused them pain.
"God will not inflict pain on others just because we are hurting," she added.
The post drew reactions with many Nigerians weighing in on both the message and the messenger.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a pastor criticised Tonto Dikeh for starting prayer ministry.
