Funke Akindele, who had a face-off with Toyin Abraham, also revealed that she actually admires the look of cosmetic procedures like Brazilian B*tt Lift (BBL), especially when done moderately.
“I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like BBL, the skinny ones, not the big ones,” she said.
The actress went further to admit that she has considered undergoing such procedures herself.
“I want to do it but I don’t have the mind,” she confessed, pointing to her low tolerance for pain as the major reason holding her back.
Funke made it clear she has nothing against women enhancing their bodies, as long as it is done with caution.
“If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead but don’t overdo things. Be careful,” she added.
Her comments have since opened up conversations about beauty standards and personal choices, especially in an era where cosmetic procedures have become more common among celebrities.
Describing herself as someone who loves deeply but is also extremely disciplined, Funke revealed how her personality has shaped her relationships over the years.
“I am an extremist. I love hard,” she said.
But that same intensity, she admitted, has also led her to distance herself from people she once cared about.
“I’m very strict,” she added, explaining that discipline has sometimes required her to make tough emotional decisions.
Funke Akindele speaks on return to politics
The Nollywood star also revealed that she is considering a return to politics, saying her influence and strong following could be used to serve Nigerians better.
Funke Akindele explained that her experience in politics gave her a clearer view of how she could contribute to society beyond entertainment.
She noted that her decision is not about celebrity status but about using her platform to drive change at the grassroots level.
Funke Akindele first contested in 2023 as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State. Although the campaign did not end in victory, she has continued to emphasise that public service remains part of her long-term vision.

Reason for Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham's fight
Legit.ng earlier reported that in December 2025, during the cinema run of their films Oversabi Aunty and Behind The Scenes, Toyin Abraham had accused Funke Akindele and her team of sabotaging her movie.
In a viral clip, Toyin alleged that Funke’s camp paid individuals to falsely claim that Oversabi Aunty was sold out, while continuing to promote Behind The Scenes.
She further claimed that cinemas deliberately scheduled her film in unfavourable early-morning slots during the festive season, while Funke’s movie enjoyed prime screening times throughout the day.
