Mr Jollof Demands Apology from Lagos Govt After 5-Hour Traffic Ordeal: "Tell Us Wetin Happen"

Comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr. Jollof, who is also the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has lamented the traffic situation in Lagos State.
In a video making the waves on social media, Mr. Jollof recalled how he was stuck in traffic for more than five hours.

The comedian also directed a message to the Lagos State Commissioner for Transport, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, demanding that he tender an apology to Lagosians and explain the reason behind the traffic.
“You owe Lagosians an apology. You go tell us wetin happen for that road," Mr. Jollof said in part in the video.
In a caption of the video, Jollof added,
"I spent 5 hours and 35 minutes from VI to Lekki. Eko ni baje. To all of you coming to Lagos, Nigeria, get ready for mad traffic."

Mr. Jollof, in another caption, also vowed never to relocate to Lagos following his experience.
"Give me a penthouse, 10 million US dollars in cash, a yacht, and a Lamborghini, and I won’t relocate to Lagos. How can a reasonable human being spend 4 hours in traffic inside VI? Lagos just tampered with my mental health," he wrote.

Why VeryDarkMan called out Mr Jollof
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that social media critic VeryDarkMan called out Mr Jollof.
The critic shared a screenshot of Jollof's tweet bragging to a follower on his Instagram page on how VDM apologised to his wife.
Debunking Jollof's claim, VDM stated that he would never beg the comedian's wife as he asked him to provide his evidence to back his allegagtion.
