He mentioned that they are "cool dudes" but do not agree on certain issues.
“Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy are all my friends, they are just too troublesome. They are cool dudes; it’s just that sometimes many can’t align on so many things and that’s fine,” he stated.
Olamide also offered his thoughts on the contentious Afrobeats "Big 3" rating, which frequently includes Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
The 'Baddest Guy Ever Liveth’' crooner stated he isn't concerned about not being included on the list, stating that his primary emphasis is on making music.
Watch him speak below:
In a previous by Legit.ng, Olamide shared that he finds it easier to operate a record business than to work as an artist.
The 'Science Student' hitmaker made this known in a chat with YouTuber Korty EO.
The YBNL chairman spoke about how his experience as a musician has helped him better understand and work with the talent under his supervision.
According to him, working in the music industry has taught him how artists think, act, and deal with the ups and downs of fame, money, and success.
The Metaverse crooner stated that having a solid understanding makes it easier for him to guide individuals signed to his label.
He claimed he knows when people are in a good creative space and when they are distracted, which allows him to provide the appropriate support.
He said: “It’s way much easier for me being a music executive than an artiste because I’m an artiste, so I understand the needs of creatives.
“I know the way we think, I know the way we see things. I know when we are in our element, when we want to run mad, when we’re getting high on our own supply, or high on fame, life, money, and success. So it’s easier for me to deal with creatives. I try not to bite more than I can chew.”
