Nigerian music star Peter Okoye aka Mr P, one-half of the defunct music duo PSquare, has sparked conversation online after a tense exchange with a social media user.

“Why can’t you just kill the pride, make peace with your brothers and make money. Be like Wike and Fubara. Focus on the money, not your feelings. We miss Psquare and no other duos like Psquare. You alone make you look like an upcoming artist, you’re struggling with your music.”

Responding to him, Peter told him to cry harder and dropped a bucket emoji to emphasize his post.

“Cry harder! Take this.”

Hitting back, the troll pointed out his delight that Peter had answered, as he was one of the people who helped his music become global using his platform in the past. The troll stated that seeing him decline as a living legend is a pity because of pride and bad advice that are ruining him.

“I’m happy you responded to this. I can gladly say that I was one of the people who made your music go global with my platform back in the day. So, seeing you sinking while you’re a living legend is a pity because of pride and bad advice; they are destroying what you’ve built.”
