Over 10 years ago, May D was one of the hottest music sensations in Nigeria; however, after he fell out with his record label, things did not remain the same.

The singer was recently spotted performing at an event in Lagos, which ignited reactions from online users, including Wizkid's associate Tufab.
Tufab, taking to his official social media page, tweeted:
"For May D mind, he dey perform for O2 Arena. Sold Out," he tweeted.

His tweet riled the likes of Skales and DJ Neptune up, and now Daniel Regha, who said that May D would have been on the same level as Wizkid today if he had moved with the right crowd.

"His career isn't booming at the moment, but there's no justifiable reason why Tufab should ridicule him. And this "I praised you" defense act from Tufab is gaslighting, u don't mock someone then switch up when called out."
