Drama as Cardi B on Trial for Allegedly Assaulting Security Guard While Pregnant: "I Believe Her"

  • Cardi B, the mother of three, was in court after being accused of attacking a security guard while she was pregnant
  • The news was made public by the Los Angeles Times, as the rapper testified regarding the events of that day
  • Cardi B took the witness stand to share her side of the story, and fans have also expressed their thoughts online

A security guard, identified as Emani Ellis, is suing Cardi B for allegedly attacking her at an OB-GYN office back in 2018.

Ellis took the stand and claimed that Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar (Cardi B) went crazy on her when she recognised her and commented out loud.

According to Ellis, Cardi yelled at her, poked her in the face, spat on her, and even had security hold her down.

However, Cardi B remembered the event differently. The rapper testified that Ellis was trying to record her without permission and was the one who got aggressive.

When Cardi showed up to court on Day 2, she denied the allegations, saying she never laid a hand on Ellis.

Currently, the rapper is expected to testify and give her side of the story. Ellis is seeking damages for medical expenses, lost earnings, and emotional distress, plus a $25K civil penalty. It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out in court.
